Update: Found the cat. Turns out the guy across the street lied this morning when he told me he had fed the cat in his house and then she escaped back outside, because he called us later and procured the kitty with the cone still on from within his house.

Well.

The cat got out.

I've been searching for two hours now and can't stop until I either drop or I find her. Stopped by for ten seconds to cool off- I'm passing out as it is between heat exhaustion, lack of food, and exhaustion in general.

And now thanks to dad, all I see is her licking her stitches open and bleeding out.
