The Dappled Dandy

About seven hours over two days. Sketched with .5 and shaded with .7 lead, followed by a half-hour highlighting and smearing session with an eraser and finished with more .5 lead. No references used except for a quick look at a dapple grey pattern study in an old, copyright-free textbook of drawings at school.

Despite the fact I rather like this one, feel free to critique your little hearts out. I will not be touching this one again; suggestions will go toward future pieces~ <3
